“I got him a lot of things,” Eva Longoria-Parker said Saturday before celebrating her husband’s birthday at Las Vegas’s Eve Nightclub. “I got him four-wheelers because he wanted a new four-wheeler, and I got him a Microsoft surface computer that he can touch and play with.”

The gift-giving will only continue, with one present still to open.

“I can’t wait to see the surprise,” Parker immediately said. “I don’t have a birthday wish list. Whatever she gives me I’m fine with it. I’m happy.”

The couple have been celebrating Parker’s birthday for two weeks in Miami, Los Angeles and Vegas, but Saturday was his big blowout.

The red-faced 11-year-old looked as if he wished mum would Posh off before one of his mates saw him.

Not that mother-of-three Victoria, 36, let it get to her. In her cream one-shoulder mini dress, she was a bit hit at the LG Fashion Touch party in West Hollywood – but with hubby David meeting our troops in Afghanistan, she went along with her Desperate Housewives pal Eva Longoria.

The event’s chief head-turners were First Lady Michele Obama, resplendent in a shimmering, cobalt blue, one-strap gown by Peter Soronen; as well as Gayle King and Eva Longoria Parker decked out in orange toga-syle affairs.

Best accessories – at least to New York eyes – appeared to be New York Jets pins worn by quarterback Mark Sanchez and tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson.

By all accounts, the White House kept its promise to tighten security after Obama’s first state dinner was overshadowed by Michaele Salahi and her husband, Tareq, who somehow slipped in and got close enough to the president to shake his hand.

Asked about security, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, said with a shrug, “We came in on the west side. We didn’t come the way other people did. But I’d say things are pretty secure around here.”

About 200 guests enjoyed the four-course dinner the President and First Lady hosted for President Felipe Calderón of Mexico and his wife, Margarita Zavala.

Drawing on the immigration controversy, comic George Lopez got some laughs between courses, quipping, “I’m sitting with the president. But they didn’t tell me of which country.”

Earlier Obama and Calderon took turns whacking Arizona’s immigration law like a piñata.

“In the United States of America, no law-abiding person – be they an American citizen, a legal immigrant or a visitor or tourist from Mexico – should ever be subject to suspicion simply because of what they look like,” Obama said during a joint Rose Garden press conference.

Obama repeated that he understands the frustrations fueling the controversial border-state law, but said he cannot enact comprehensive immigration reform without Republican support.

From floor-length beaded evening gowns to short funky minidresses, no trend is too extreme.

But she excelled herself today, in a daring black leather bandeau top worn under an asymmetrical black mini dress covered in beads.

The mini hugged her curves as the Desperate Housewives actress hit the French Riviera for a third day in a row.

Longoria joined fellow L’Oreal brand ambassador, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai at the glitzy screening of French comedy Tournee.

Indian actress Rai, 36, looked stunning in a dramatic embroided Armani Prive gown.

Although attending without her husband Tony Parker, Longoria’s close friend Kate Beckinsale is also at Cannes this year in her role as juror.

Both Beckinsale and Longoria opted for long sweeping ballgowns as they attended the gala opening of the festival on Wednesday at the premiere of Robin Hood.

After the screening, they both changed into mini-dresses for the after-party at the Hotel Majestic on the Croisette.

The Desperate Housewives actress cheered on her husband’s team, the San Antonio Spurs, as they took on the LA Lakers at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

Longoria, 35, took a seat in the stands from where she gave her support to husband Tony Parker and his team – although Parker, 27, is currently out of action with a broken hand.

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Eva Longoria was spotted paying a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last night (April 1).

The “Desperate Housewives” babe looked beautiful as she waved to fans and paparazzi outside ABC Studios in Los Angeles prior to her appearance.

In related news, Eva is asking her fans to help Padres Contra El Cancer win a $250,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Everything initiative.

Via Facebook, Longoria pleaded, “OK guys, I need your support in helping kids with cancer! We are competing for a grant from Pepsi for the Padres kids. Eva’s basketballer hubby, Tony Parker, was also able to make it to Miami for the festivities, which included brunch this morning.

New Twitter member and birthday girl Eva added: “thank you everyone! beautiful day in miami with @tp9network, @lorenridinger, @kimkardashian, @robinantinpcd!”

And Tony Parker says we’ll see snaps from the soiree soon!

“Big party tonight for the birthday,” he tweets. “You’ll have pictures tomorrow…”

Let’s just hope her hubby doesn’t stay up too late tonight. He’s got a big game in Miami on Tuesday.

Eva wore the outfit to the opening of the new Gap 1969 jeans shop in West Hollywood. And perhaps unsurprisingly, her clothes came from the chain’s upcoming collection. Also at the star-studded launch were Gap fans Sarah Michelle Gellar, Debra Messing and Kate Beckinsale.
